Reiki

Reiki is an energy therapy which is based on quantum physics
and which is helpful for physical and emotional healing.

Quantum physics tells us that everything is energy!  You, me, plants, animals, and even inanimate objects!  And our world is surrounded by a universal energy matrix. 

Our bodies consist of energy centers (chakra) and channels (meridians) through which energy flows.  Also, each organ vibrates at a particular frequency.  In addition, thoughts and emotions are energy, too. 

But sometimes energetic stagnation and blockages occur, and then disease manifests.  The specific disease that results depends on numerous factors for the particular individual.  But energy issues are always at the root of the problem.

Fortunately, a practitioner can mediate the flow of energy from the surrounding energy matrix to the patient in order for the patient to release energetic blockages and open energy channels in a simple process called Reiki (pronounced ray-kee). 

The practitioner gently places their hands on or above the fully-clothed patient in various hand positions.  And the patient innately draws in energy from the energy matrix and locates it where needed to do the most good for all.  The practitioner does not use their own personal energy, but instead connects with the energy matrix for the patient.

Because time and space are only present in our three dimensional reality and because the universal energy transcends this dimension, distance sessions can be performed effectively.

This energy therapy is beneficial for any physical or emotional problem, but is particularly advantageous for those with chronic Lyme disease who are especially affected by energetic stagnation and blockages. Numerous case studies verify the effectiveness of this modality. 

Generally, the patient will feel deep relaxation and pain alleviation although sometimes the patient will notice temporary soreness or fatigue for up to 48 hours before the other benefits are noticed.  Periodic sessions are helpful for maintaining optimal energy balance.

This form of healing has been around for thousands of years before Mikao Usui rediscoverd it in the late 1800s.  Although Usui was a Buddhist, it is not associated with any religion, but is instead based on scientific principles.  Perhaps Jesus even performed his miracles through the laying on of hands using quantum physics!
